Hell yeah Nic!
Amazing! 😂
Really only 50 pinks in the North America? I saw one at my local shop.
Proper review Brett and crew! The snowboard nerds over here appreciate including the old Absinthe and MDP clips to educate those who might not know the board's history
Sikc rewiev! 👌🏻
Last week I rode this in Austria and it was great.
Sick!
Wow im back already
what weight are you guys and what size is the board you rode?
I’m 5’11” with 250lbs beer weight, size 13 boots. I have the 156W and it’s the daily driver. The most fun ive ever had on a snowboard.
@@charleskaucic5047 Just picked up a 156W and am so so sooooo excited
I'm not sure whether to get the 156 or 155W. I am 160lbs 5'10 and size 9/9.5 US boot. I like to do more aggressive carving but I still want it to be versatile enough for butters and bringing it into the park, what size would you recommend for me?
Given the different shape between the nose and tail, is it difficult or easy to ride switch? Do the side cuts and flex patterns of the (directional) board hinder its switch capabilities?
I have 154 but I did not ride it yet. However I am concerned about turn initiation. It is so wide. What do you think about this?
Sweet ass review
How on earth does this video look like it’s from 10 years ago. Either the filmer is genius or stuck in the Middle Ages. Informative video tho
Alright man how tf do I change the strap though
I got a deal on a 162w for next season, cant wait to try it out!
Great review- I’m 5’ 6” w/ sz 11 boot- 135lbs- I bought it in 151- can’t wait to try it! First directional board I’ve owned- Have been on the greats for 1.5 seasons, and although it does decent in pow, I thought I’d give the y a try!
For the guy who rode the 165W...what is your weight and boot size? Thanks.
Yeah, looking at the 165w myself.
do you film this on VHS?
Have you noticed at all that the top sheet is terrible on this board? I bought it and after one day...on four times on the lift, it has significant marks and peeling.
What you need to do is take a file and run it on the outer edge of the top sheet all around your board. You should do this on every board to prolong chips, peeling . I have this board as well and because of the matte top, it is more susceptible . Though no matter what board, you are eventually going to get chips, marks, peeking etc. It's a snowboard and meant to RIDE~
Sick board
What about sizing? I am 188cm and 75kg size 11. I ride 25% park and 75% all mountain. Should I get the 155w or the 158w?
It is not good for powder! Does not stay on top of the powder it dives into it. It is great for edge hold on Icy conditions. Good for groomers.
not great for powder it buries itself. Does not float well. I find it great on those icier days and does hold an edge well . its great on groomers and flying down at high speeds.
Hey what bindings did you use I’ve been having trouble with my Ride ex
this is my board with some union trilogys
like how high he looked !! legalize it
you said you'd pick a winner. Which is the winner? The Anons?
which lens is on the goggle in the vid?
jet black and then the bonus green lowlight.
I'm not able to take off my lens, it's rock solid, I don't know if do it wrong or what but I'm not able to take my lens off my MIG goggles
I know this is quite a while from when you asked, and you've probably figured it out but I was pretty cautious too. Mine felt like it was glued in there but with my migs, I just pulled the top of the frame down with force and the lens popped out.
Mike Tran thanks man, yeah it's a little bit too late. I return the MIG:s and bought the M2:s instead and they works great
I'm having the same issue. I've tried applying a lot of force like the other commenter suggested but gave up.
That 47 second mark though XD
Hi
Bailey Harding allo
This review pontless but cool i like it
Hey guys, I've got one DC's PBJ size 155 from 2015 and I don't know what size should I get of Media Blitz! I know that I can ride it shorter but I can decide between the 150 or 154! I'm 5"10 high and 141lbs, boot10 What size should I get? Thanks
What bindings are the ones in this video? Union Contacts?
+Reid M they are indeed Union Contact bindings with a Source DCR sticker on the highbacks www.sourceboards.com/union-2016-contact-black-black.html
LoL
Was thinking about buying this. I'm 6' 185lbs. Which size would you go with if you were that height and weight? Also, this would be my first board so I'm not sure what "softer and more playful" means exactly. What bindings would you recommend?
should I go for the antler 2016 or the custom X, money isnt an issue. Am more of a pow guy with a little park
+Gerhard Van Moeseke both the custom x and the antler camber are very similar in flex, although the antler is a bit softer and more playful. the custom x is designed to charge harder. custom x = haul more ass. antler = haul ass and play more.
+SOURCEBOARDS aight, I'm rocking the diodes bindings so antler would be a better fit, not that fixed on speed, just the stability and forgiving type of board
+Gerhard Van Moeseke diodes+antler camber = awesome everywhere!
how tall are you? and how much do u weigh? Iam looking to pick this up this year just not sure if i need a 154 or 158?
+kyle wyman Hi Kyle, the suggested weight range for a 154cm snowboard is 130-170lbs (59-77kg). The suggested weight range for a 158cm snowboard is 145-185lbs (66-84kg). It also depends on your riding style and the terrain you are shredding. Shorter boards turn quicker, longer boards float better and go faster.
Im looking into getting this board and im not sure if i should get the 156wide or the 157 i have a size 12 boot and large binding.
+Andrew Short (shortfuse entertainment) Hi Andrew, for a size 12 boot we recommend a wide board which will eliminate toe drag.
